Haryana cow guard Mainu Manesar was produced in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur jail in the Nasir-Junaid murder case.
Bajrang Dal worker and cow protector Monu Manesar, arrested in the Nasir-Junaid murder case, will come to Haryana from Rajasthan. The Haryana Police has obtained the production order of Bajrang Dal worker and cow protector Monu Manesar from the Bharatpur court. According to the court order, Monu will be taken into custody by the Haryana police from the Rajasthan jail on September 25, when his custody ends.
Case of attempt to murder registered in Pataudi
A Haryana police officer said a case was registered against Manesar at the Pataudi police station on February 6. He along with some others were accused of injuring four people in a clash between two communities. A person named Mohin Khan (20) was shot. Mohin’s father said in his complaint that his son was in the market when an unknown person fired at him. Mohin’s uncle alleged that Bajrang Dal members were roaming around with weapons.
Monu shoots in the video
The police had registered a case against unidentified persons under Section 307 of the IPC and the Arms Act, but after a video surfaced on social media, allegedly showing Manesar firing a gun near the spot, they were named. Added as an accused.
Monus name in Nuh violence
Monu Manesar’s name has also come up in the Nuh violence in Haryana. He is accused of posting an inflammatory video on social media, which incited violence. Meanwhile, DGP Shatrujit Singh Kapoor said Nuh is investigating all cases registered in connection with the violence. The police have so far arrested 595 people in over 100 cases registered at various police stations. Around 150-200 people have been detained as part of preventive measures. Charge sheets have been filed in some cases, while the process is ongoing in the remaining.
