Mumbai: BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya has filed a petition against the state government. Somaiya has demanded in the petition that there should be a CBI inquiry into the attack on me by Shiv Sainiks. They have demanded immediate arrest of Shiv Sena goons who attacked me. Somaiya had also filed a complaint against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil and Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey through the petition.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil and Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey have filed a false FIR. I was attacked by 70 to 80 goons of Shiv Sena outside Khar police station. Against this false FIR I have filed a PIL in Mumbai High Court today, informed Kirit Somaiya. “I will request the court to hear the petition urgently on Monday,” he said.

Kirit Somaiya attacked

Kirit Somaiya’s car was pelted with stones in front of Khar police station on Saturday. Somaiya’s chin got hurt due to the breaking of the glass. Claiming that Shiv Sainiks attacked me with the help of police, Somaiya went straight to Delhi and demanded a probe by the Union Home Secretary.

Important information about the attack has also come to the fore. The medical report of Bhabha Hospital has revealed that the injury to Kirit Somaiya was not serious. The wound was 0.1 cm and there was no bleeding, the medical examination report said. It is learned that the hospital had submitted the report to the Mumbai Police.
