Pakistan Hockey Team Manager Khawaja Junaid has resigned from his post, on which Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa said that Khawaja Junaid had said long ago that he could not fulfill the responsibility of the manager.

According to details, Asif Bajwa said that he had nothing to do with the issue of feeding 12 players in the Asia Cup and the inquiry committee.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore, Secretary PHF Asif Bajwa said that Khawaja Junaid has done a great job, he has been an excellent manager.

“We allowed Khwaja Junaid to resign as manager. Khwaja Junaid will no longer be the manager for the Commonwealth Games,” he said.

The Secretary PHF said that many changes are being made after the Commonwealth Games, Khwaja Junaid may be in a good position.

On this occasion, Khawaja Junaid said that he is a man of the ground, he had already informed the federation about his resignation from the management.
