A rookie soldier in India duped the Indian authorities thrice by staying in five-star hotels, bulletproof vehicles, high security and enjoying tourism in occupied Kashmir as per official protocol.
According to Indian media, the police arrested a fake officer who was roaming around Kashmir under high security in Occupied Kashmir by pretending to be a senior officer in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s office.
According to media reports, a person named Kiran Patel had arrived in Occupied Kashmir for the third time on March 2 for tourism, the next day he was arrested on charges including forgery and fraud.
According to police officials, Kiran Patel has a verified account on Twitter and presents himself as a Bharatiya Janata Party leader to his followers.
In the pictures shared on his social media accounts with the caption of his official visit to Kashmir, he is seen surrounded by paramilitary guards.
According to Indian media, Kiran Patel had told the purpose of his visit that the central government had sent him to discuss the sale and purchase of apple orchards in south Kashmir.
Earlier on the occasion of a visit to Gulmarg, a well-known spot for snow sports in occupied Kashmir, he had said that the central government had sent him to find opportunities to improve facilities in hotels here to promote tourism.
During his visits, Kiran Patel presented himself as a top official in the Prime Minister’s Office, after which he was given accommodation in five-star hotels, bulletproof vehicles, high security and full-fledged official protocol by the local authorities.
