Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Adviser on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam has taken a stand on the news of quarrel with Zartaj Gul. Malik Amin Aslam termed the news of quarrel between government ministers as baseless and misleading.

Malik Amin Aslam while announcing to approach the disciplinary wing of the party against National Assembly member Riaz Fatyana said that the talk of Riaz Fatyana in the Public Accounts Committee is false, the allegation of the extra member is based on 200% lies and misrepresentation. ۔

Malik Amin Aslam said that Zartaj Gul had to return home early due to his participation in the joint sitting of Parliament.

He said that the party should investigate the allegations so that there would be milk and water.

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister said that crores of Pakistani rupees were sunk in the conference, not a single rupee of Pakistan was spent on the conference, the conference was held entirely with the cooperation of foreign donors.

He further said that he was unable to understand why Riaz Fatyana was misunderstood. Riaz Fatyana himself reached the sponsorship of an NGO without any invitation.

Lak Amin Aslam said that Pakistani pavilion was the busiest center in the conference, media from all over the world covered Pakistani pavilion and climate vision, about 500 bilateral meetings were held with the ministers of climate change.

Amin Aslam said that US President appreciated Pakistan’s efforts, British Prime Minister himself visited the pavilion.

It may be recalled that in the meeting of Public Accounts Committee, PTI National Assembly member Riaz Fatyana had revealed that a fight broke out between Minister of State Zartaj Gul and Malik Amin Aslam, Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Climate Change at the UN Environment Conference.

A meeting of the Public Accounts Committee was held under the chairmanship of Rana Tanveer Hussain in which an inquiry was ordered into the fight between Zartaj Gul and Amin Aslam at the UN Environment Conference.

Riaz Fatyana told the meeting that in Glasgow, Zartaj Gul fought with Special Assistant Amin Aslam and returned home.

He told a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee that Pakistan’s representation at the Glago Conference was substandard due to incompetence of officers.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member further said that the delegation from Nepal and other countries was not received by any officer at the Pakistan camp.

Riaz Fatyana also said that crores of rupees were lost due to incompetent officials of the Ministry of Climate Change.

Chairman PAC Rana Tanveer directed the audit authorities to investigate the fight between Zartaj Gul and Amin Aslam and submit a report.
