Edmonton –

Oils defenseman Dornell Nurse will miss Game 6 of Edmonton’s first-round playoff series with Los Angeles, after which the NHL suspended a game for Kings forward Philip Donald’s header.

The incident happened with 10 seconds left in the second period of the Kings’ 5-5 extra time victory in the 5th game on Tuesday night in Edmonton.

After Oilers’ Goldman Mike Smith made a save and froze the side, the nurse turned in front of Edmonton’s goal and forced his helmet on Donald.

Without going to an elimination game on Thursday in Los Angeles, the oils are suspended. The Kings are leading 3-2 in the top seven series.

The NHL has fined Oilers forward Jack Cassian $ 5,000 for cross-examining Kings defender Sean Tursi.

The incident took place at 19:00 in the second period. A small fine was imposed for the Gaussian cross-examination.
