Pakistan signs agreement with Iran for supply of 100 MW additional power Pi News

Tehran: Pakistan has agreed to supply 100 megawatts of additional electricity to Iran.

Prolonged load shedding continues across the country, power shortfall is 6,000 MW

According to Hum News, the agreement between the two countries was reached during the visit of Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir to Iran, after which an agreement has been signed between the two countries. The agreement has been signed by NTDC and Tawneer.

Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir, who belongs to PML-N, has said in this regard that an agreement has been signed with Iran to supply 100 MW additional power to Balochistan.

The price of electricity is likely to increase by about Rs. 8 per unit

According to Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir, under the agreement, the project will be completed in the shortest possible time and its completion will bring relief to the people of Balochistan.
