New York: The United Nations has said that Pakistan’s economy is on the path to strong recovery.
The United Nations has said in its key global economic situation and prospects (WYSP) report that Pakistan’s economy is on the path to a relatively strong recovery.
According to the annual report, after the economic expansion of 4.5% in 2021, the GDP growth rate is estimated to be 3.9% in 2022. Has hastened rapid global recovery, which is facing signs of tangible growth at the end of last year.
The report, prepared by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), cites issues that are slowing the economy, including new wave of CoV-19 infections, persistent labor market and long supply chain challenges, and rising inflationary pressures.
