The police seized pesticides and fungicides worth about three lakh rupees bought illegally without license. This action was taken after the complaint of the Agriculture Department. A case has been registered in Ozar Police Station in this regard. The stock worth Rs 265,840 was seized in front of the entrance of the HAL factory on the Mumbai-Agra highway.

In this case, Pranav Shette, a resident of Kasbe Sakne of Nafad taluk, has been arrested. The accused had procured fungicides and pesticides illegally. Agriculture officer Abhijit Ghamre said in the complaint that they were trying to store it and sell it to farmers. The Uzor police have registered a case under various provisions for cheating the government and farmers.
