The federal government has sharply increased the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days.
The Federal Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to increase the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5, high speed diesel by Rs 5 and kerosene by Rs 5.46.
Decision to change the prices of petroleum products
The new price of petrol has gone up to Rs 123.30, high speed diesel to Rs 120.4, kerosene to Rs 92.26 and light diesel to Rs 90.69.
Yesterday, it was proposed to increase the price of high speed diesel by Rs 10 and a half and petrol by Rs 1 per liter.
A summary of the increase in prices of petroleum products has been prepared in accordance with the existing levy and GST. The new prices will take effect on September 16.
