PM Modi inaugurates 7 cancer hospitals on display in Rangali mode ProIQRA News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rongali mood continues and it was on a show in Dabrogarh, Upper Assam on Thursday. The PM was in his festive mood, applauding the tunes of Behoo in Khanikar Pathar, where he addressed a huge rally dedicated to the people of the state by dedicating seven cancer centers.

Along with Assam Chief Minister Humanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister for Shipping Sarbananda Sonowal, more than 5,000 dancers danced in their traditional best style to welcome Prime Minister Modi.

While enjoying the performance, PM Modi was seen applauding to the beat of ‘Dhol’ and ‘Pipa’. Along with the Prime Minister, CM Sarma and Union Minister Sonowal were also seen arguing on the stage at Dabnugarh’s Khanikar playground.

Not confining himself to the podium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped forward to greet the ‘nasunis’ or beho dancers. The Prime Minister congratulated the people of Assamese on the occasion and said,

5000 Beho dancers performed at 17 different venues to welcome the Prime Minister. The dancers had been practicing for several days to perform at the event.

It was last Saturday when PM Modi was seen playing the pipa (buffalo horn trumpet) and drums at the Rongali Beho ceremony hosted by Sonowal at his home in Delhi. For more than an hour, Modi enjoyed, among other things, the boho dances and folk dances of Assamese artists.

Union Minister Sonowal thanked the Prime Minister for attending the Beho program. He said that it shows PM Modi’s love for the people of Assam and their culture. The Minister said that he was grateful to the Prime Minister for his blessings by attending the Beho ceremony.
