Prepares a ventilator that absorbs oxygen from the air

Scientists in Saudi Arabia have developed a ventilator that absorbs oxygen from the air.

Scientists in Saudi Arabia have developed an intelligent and short ventilator that absorbs oxygen from the air and adjusts the amount of oxygen needed by the patient.

This feat was jointly performed by Ahad Syed and Dr. Adnan Qamar of King Abdulaziz University of Science and Technology.

Unlike ordinary ventilators, it does not always need to be connected to an oxygen cylinder or central oxygen supply system, but it absorbs air from its surroundings and separates it from the oxygen supply to the patient.

This ventilator, called a vanity bag, is equipped with special sensors and an effective system of artificial intelligence, using which it constantly monitors the patient’s heartbeat and respiratory rate as well as changes in them. And on the basis of these, the amount of oxygen required by the patient also decreases.

Developed by Dr. Adnan Qamar and Ahad Syed, this intelligent ventilator has also been declared the winner of AUST Corona Innovation Challenge.

It should be noted that this ventilator is so short that it can be easily fitted in a normal ambulance while it can be placed on the bedside of the patient’s house if required.
