King Charles met Sir Joseph during a meeting in the palace.
On his visit to London, Mr. Youssef also met with the Spanish Ambassador and the Mayor of the City of London. On Tuesday, he met the Irish Consul General.
Youssef had previously said he was a Republican and criticized the costs associated with the coronation earlier this month, saying he hoped they would be limited as a result of the cost of living crisis.
He and his wife, Nadia Al Nuqla, attended the coronation ceremony on May 8.
The meeting comes after the Stone of Destiny was returned to Edinburgh Castle earlier this week.
Traditionally, the stone was used for the coronation of Kings of Scotland but is now used for the coronation of Kings of the United Kingdom as part of the coronation ceremony.
Former Prime Minister Alex Salmond suggested that the police should have been used to prevent the stone from being removed from the castle, which Yusuf denied.
The Foreign Secretary said: “Alex Salmond must, of course, remember that operational matters are for Police Scotland.
“It is not up to the Chief Minister to tell the police what to do, but of course it would not have been the right thing to do even if those powers were already in place.
“Alex Salmond can sit there and talk about the Stone of Destiny all day. It seems like that’s all he’s been talking about for the past few weeks.
“I am committed to talking about reducing poverty, the cost-of-living crisis, and investing in our public services.”
