Islamabad: The federal government has immediately implemented the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, after which the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be banned from accepting gifts worth more than $300.

According to the details, after the implementation of policy 2023, there will be a ban on buying vehicles worth millions of rupees, expensive watches, jewelry and expensive gifts. Now the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be prohibited from accepting gifts worth more than $300. In addition to this, these persons will also be prohibited from accepting cash as gifts from domestic and foreign personalities.

According to the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, instructions have been issued to deposit the entire amount in the treasury on receipt of cash gifts, while no person will be authorized to purchase vehicles and valuable antiques received as gifts.

Vehicles received as gifts will be displayed in the central pool, while valuable antiques will be decorated in official places, while the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be allowed to buy gifts worth less than US$300 at market value and from $ 300. The public will also be able to buy valuable gifts through the state-owned open auction.

After the implementation of Policy 2023, gold and silver coins will now be handed over to the State Bank of Pakistan, except for the President and Prime Minister, there will be a ban on receiving gifts for their families.
