PSL Eight, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 13 runs
Rawalpindi (Web Desk) – In the 29th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) eight, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 13 runs.
Chasing the target of 180 runs, the Islamabad United team was bowled out for 166 runs in 19.4 overs. All-rounder Faheem Ashraf became the top scorer by scoring 38 runs, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 33 runs, captain Shadab Khan scored 25 runs.
On behalf of Peshawar Zalmi, Khurram Shehzad and Sufyan Moqim took 3, 3 wickets while Aamir Jamal and James Neesham took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi scored 179 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs when batting first. Opener Mohammad Haris played an impressive innings of 79 runs off 39 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 7 fours.
On behalf of Islamabad United, Hasan Ali took 3 wickets while Shadab Khan took 2 wickets.
