PV Sindhu out of India Open
The story of Indian shuttler PV Sindhu at the India Open badminton tournament is over. Peevy Sindhu missed out on a chance to win the title once again. Indus lost to Supanida Katethong of Thailand in the semis on Saturday. The match was lost 14-21, 21-13, 10-21. With this, India exited the Open Open title race.

In the quarterfinals on Friday, PV Sindhu Sunayasa defeated fellow shuttler Asmita Chaliha 21-7, 21-18. World No. 7 PV Sindhu completely dominated her opponent to reach the semifinals in just 36 minutes. But Sindhu disappointed the Indian fans once again by losing in the semifinals.
