#New Delhi: Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, were released six hours after being detained.

From rising prices to unemployment, the Congress is protesting in black across the country. On Friday, the police stopped the Congress procession at Vijay Chowk. Congress MPs clashed with the police in Delhi. Delhi Police arrested several Congress MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, outside the Parliament building. Priyanka Gandhi was also arrested.

The Congress has launched mass protests in the capital against rising prices, unemployment and the imposition of GST on food. Rahul was walking to Rashtrapati Bhavan from Parliament with a procession of MPs. He was arrested by the Delhi Police before reaching Vijay Chowk. Congress members marched to Rashtrapati Bhavan from Sangsad Bhavan on Friday morning. Rahul Gandhi was in the lead. Earlier, Rahul held a press conference at 9:30 am and attacked the Narendra Modi government.

Section 144 was imposed in all of New Delhi except Jantar Mantar, which is centered around the Congress presidential campaign. Security measures have been introduced in the capital. Yesterday, the opposition staged a mass protest in both houses of parliament, alleging abuse of central authorities. Trinamool MP Dola Sen raised slogans, BJP’s two brothers – ED and CBI, Narendra Modi’s two brothers – ED and CBI. Mamata Banerjee raised the issue of misuse of central institutions in a meeting with MPs on the first day after her arrival in Delhi. He ordered that the issue be dealt with by the party’s parliament.

The Congress started a protest movement across the country. Protests are taking place in several places in Delhi. The Congress also plans to surround the prime minister’s residence. Photos of Congress workers clashing with the police, central forces dragging some Congress MLAs into a bus have already come to the fore. As a sign of protest, all Congress members came dressed in black.
