After the arrest of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, Rangers have been called to Lahore. Additional Chief Secretary Home Minister Mian Shakeel Ahmed has said that mobile service has been stopped in Lahore. The government is sure to protect people’s lives and property.

On the other hand, immediately after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the federal capital Islamabad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has called its workers to protest across the country. A recorded message of Imran Khan has also been released from PTI’s social media accounts. In which he instructs the workers to come out for real freedom after their arrest, while the senior leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaaf have also called the workers of their respective constituencies to protest on the streets. Later, PTI workers protest in the provincial capital Lahore. Workers have blocked the roads around Zaman Park in Lahore by erecting barricades and burning tyres.

Led by Imran Khan’s liaison Hasan Niazi, the protesters have reached Lahore’s Mall Road and pelted stones at the police, due to which the police had to retreat.Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called on the workers to protest against the arrest of Imran Khan. He wrote in a message on Twitter that the arrest of Chairman Imran Khan is unacceptable. The entire nation immediately took to the streets. Asad Umar has said that the six-member committee headed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, which was formed by Imran Khan, will announce the action plan.
