Srinagar: The dilapidated condition of roads in Hyderpora area of ​​central Kashmir’s Srinagar district is creating tough conditions for commuters.

Local residents complained that the connecting roads from Galwanpore Lalu Chowk to Mushtaq Colony are in ruins.

“The road is riddled with potholes, which speaks volumes about the government’s lofty claims to improve road connectivity,” residents said.

He said that other roads in the district are in the same condition. Residents appealed to the administration to come to their aid, solve their problem and provide a better transport interchange in the area as soon as possible before winter. “These roads are very dangerous and many of them lead to fatal accidents.

The winter season is approaching and the government should repair these roads as soon as possible,” said Ghulam Mohammad, an elderly resident of the area who was among the protesters. Another resident said that driving two-wheelers or four-wheelers on the existing road is dangerous for both motorists and pedestrians.
