These illegal shops were built in 3 days.
If you have a grasp of the government system, how illegal constructions come up overnight can be seen in the ecological zone near Sisediya Rani Garden in Ghat ki Guni. The JDA enforcement department took action against illegal construction in the ecological zone on 3 December 2022. Even after this, 3 shops were constructed, which were demolished on 9 August. Now again these stores were built here within 72 hours. The enforcement officer has taken measures twice in the restricted area where these shops are built on private land. Even after this, illegal construction raises questions with the Hana chairman and the branch.

Agra Road; Ecological zone becomes the hub of illegal construction
According to master plan-2025, the area on the left side of Agra Road comes in the ecological zone. Here there is a ban on establishing a new colony and any kind of construction. Despite this, this area remains a bastion of illegal colonies and illegal construction. Every month complaints are received about 8-10 illegal colonies and more than 50 illegal constructions in this ecological zone. In four years, action has been taken against 200 illegal colonies here.

August 9, 2023
The construction was done during EO’s old tenure, when the zone was changed, the new EO demolished it, when he came again on August 31, the construction was done again overnight.
On 3 December 2022, Balbir Singh, then EO of Gen 10A, took action at the ecological zone near Sisodia Rani Bagh. After this Santra Meena got charge in the zone. Illegal construction of shops took place during his tenure. Following this, on 6 August, Santra Meena gave the charge to Rajendra Kumar Sharma. Following this, on August 9, the JDA Enforcement Branch took action and demolished all the three shops.
After this, on August 23, Rajendra Kumar Sharma was transferred and relieved from JDA and four days ago, Santra Meena was again given the charge of EO in the same JAN. During this time, these three stores were rebuilt. It is said that there is a battle going on between two big leaders in the city regarding illegal constructions in the ecological zone. The big question is why JDA continues to turn a blind eye even after taking action? This is why 200 illegal colonies have been established in the ecological zone in the last 4 years.
Responsible EO has no knowledge
I have no idea how the shops were built here. I have recently again taken over responsibility for EOO in this zone. I’ll go to the store and see. -Santra Meena, Supervisor, Gen 10A
When illegal shops were found under construction in the ecological zone, they were notified and demolished. If stores are rebuilt, action will be taken after taking information from the concerned EO. Work on illegal construction will take place with zero tolerance. -Dharmendra Yadav, Chief Enforcement Controller, JDA Enforcement Branch
