Simulation center for practical education on artificial patients established in Karachi
A simulation center for practical education on artificial patients has been set up at Dow Medical University, which was inaugurated by Murad Ali Shah yesterday.
According to details, Asif Rehman Simulation Center has been set up at Dow Medical University, Karachi for practical education on artificial patients, where new doctors will be given practical training in treatment of artificial patients.
On the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the method of treatment of artificial patient is adopted by creating a clinical environment in a simulated manner.
He said that these simulations have four objectives in which patient safety including education, assessment, research and health system will be ensured.
Murad Ali Shah said that those who get medical education in this center will be able to get the best practical education.
The Sindh Chief Minister suggested that a huge simulation center should be set up at Dow University so that students of other universities could also get education through its virtual reality.
It should be noted that the construction of Asif Rehman Simulation Center at Dow Medical University has cost Rs. 230 million. The Chief Minister Sindh said that Rs. Dow University has spent.
