Sindh government’s proposal to reduce the number of spectators in PSL
KARACHI: The Sindh government has proposed to reduce the number of spectators in Pakistan Super League season 7.
According to the news agency, the Sindh government has recommended to reduce the number of spectators in PSL 7 due to the increase in Corona cases in Karachi, the final decision of which will be taken by the NCOC.
According to the report, a meeting of Corona Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in which it was proposed to ban any kind of gatherings due to increase in Corona in Karachi for next 20 to 30 years.
The meeting also came up with a proposal to reduce the number of spectators in the PSL 7 matches to be held in Karachi while this proposal will be presented by the Sindh government at the upcoming NCOC meeting.
It should be noted that NCOC has announced to hold PSL 7 with 100% spectators. The matches of the event will be played in Karachi from January 27 while the final of the event will be played in Lahore on February 27.
