Southampton coach: Liverpool have rediscovered their true identity

LONDON: Southampton coach Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed that Liverpool had rediscovered the identity that enabled him to win the English Premier League title for the first time in 30 years, the season before last.
And the British news agency (PA Media) reported that Jurgen Klopp’s team deserved to win the English Premier League title in the 2019/2020 season, but the team’s decline led to the end of last season, 17 points behind defending champion Manchester City.
Hassenhuttl’s tears fell at St. Mary’s stadium last January, when his team managed to beat Liverpool 1-0.
The Austrian coach will head his team to Anfield next Saturday, where he feels that the opposing team’s scoring abundance, which has scored 35 goals this season, represents a greater danger than what the team was at early this year.
“It is always a pleasure to play against a team coached by Jürgen Klopp, and this is always the biggest challenge you can imagine in football, it is very difficult,” Hasenhuttl explained.
He added: “When you see Liverpool at the moment, they are back to their best, it seems to me as if they are back to the season in which they were crowned champions.”
And the Austrian coach continued: “Last season, it seemed to me that the team had no motivation and was not hungry to win, and the players were not as fast as they are now.”
He continued, “I don’t know how they changed this summer, but it seems that they have rediscovered their identity again and that makes things more difficult against any team that plays against them.”
He said: “But that is not impossible. I saw Brighton get a point after being two goals down (2/2 draw on October 30 last), but in 99 matches out of 100, if you lose with two clean goals against Liverpool in their stadium, you will lose the match. “.
