Zeeshan Malik suspended under PCB anti-corruption code

Zeeshan Malik, who represented Northern Punjab in the National T20 Cup, was temporarily suspended under Article 4.7.1 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code.

According to a press release issued by the PCB, Zeeshan Malik will not be able to participate in any cricket activities until the investigation of the anti-corruption unit is completed.

The PCB decides to prosecute any participant under the Anti-Corruption Code.

The PCB understands that there are other exceptional circumstances involving participants (for example, a police authority may arrest a person under a relevant criminal law in connection with a fact or circumstance that may constitute an offense. If the Board deems that the integrity of the game has otherwise been seriously compromised, it may notify the participants in writing of any decision to suspend them temporarily, a copy of which may be sent to the ICC and National It will also be sent to the Federation.

The PCB says the matter is under investigation, so the PCB will not comment further.
