Organizers have confirmed that rapper Stormzy will perform at the 2023 Brit Awards.

is the latest act to join the 29-year-old bill alongside international superstar Harry Styles as well as French DJ David Guetta, American pop star Lizzo, and British singer-songwriters Ella Henderson and Becky Hill.

Previously announced artists include British pop star Sam Smith, German singer Kim Petras and rock duo Wet Leg.

Styles and Wet Leg both lead nominations at Brits of the Year, both earning four nominations each, with Stormzy following with three nods for Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Hip-Hop.

His latest offering, This Is What I Mean, is his third UK hit following the success of Heavy Is The Head in 2019 and 2017’s Gang Signs & Prayer.

The burlesque artist and rapper also headlined at Glastonbury in 2019, becoming the first black solo player to headline a UK hit in the festival’s history.

Stormzy is joined by The 1975’s, newcomer Cat Burns and dance music DJ Fred Again, who have all garnered three British nominations this year.

Meanwhile, artists including George Ezra, Arctic Monkeys, Nova Twins, and Aitch and Dave got two.

The first nominations went to K-pop girl group Blackpink, Eurovision star Sam Ryder, Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow and British artist Koji Radical.

Ryder, who finished second in the Eurovision Song Contest this year before climbing to number one with his debut album, was among the nominees for Best New Artist.

In this year’s International Artist category, three of America’s biggest female acts—Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Lizzo—will compete for the award.

This year, four genre categories will be decided by the public through a vote on TikTok – alternative rock, hip-hop rap, dance, and pop R&B.

It was previously announced that R&B girl group Flo has won the 2023 Rising Star award.

The Brits Awards 2023 will take place on 11 February, hosted by Mo Gilligan, and broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX from The O2 Arena in London.
