MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia is expected to deploy troops to Latin America in the wake of rising tensions with the United States, the Russian foreign minister has said.
According to the international website, growing tensions between Russia and the United States and the failure of Western countries to provide security guarantees to Russia is another suggestion.
The proposal states that Russia could send troops to Latin America.
During an interview with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on a Russian TV channel, he was asked about the possible deployment of Russian troops in Venezuela and Cuba.
