Six members of Chamukoi Nak National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited Tezpur University from August 1 to 3 for the fourth round of university accreditation. The exhibition committee was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Rajasthan, Prof. Anand Valerao, Co-ordinating Member, Prof. Javed Akhtar of Aligarh Muslim University, and Prof. Savita Dixit of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Prof. Sushmita Ghosh of Jadavpu University and Prof. Kanisha K. Prof. Tarun Arora was inducted as a member of Hichap.

The accreditation process has already been completed by evaluating Institutional Information on Quantitative Criteria Assessment (IIQA) and Self-Study Reports (SSR) submitted by universities online. In the deviance group, Tezpur Chaudhat University has introduced various departments and institutions for inspection, accreditation, ranking and numbering of institutions on quality indicators as described in the University’s Self-Study Report (SSR).

During the evaluation of the day, he showed different departments, centers, laboratories, hostels and other facilities of the university to various groups and exchanged views with various partners of the university such as students, teachers, parents, former students. and employees. The President of the Association of Exhibitions expressed his joy at the high participation of participating schools, especially parents and school graduates, which is unique among other higher education institutions.

Nagar Sajati Daltok organized a wonderful cultural program with dance, song and music on August 1 at Kalaguru Vishnu Prasad Rava Auditorium, Tezpur University. The main attraction of the event were local Thai and Eastern Zimbabwean dance performances by Singdaran Phetcha-im from Thailand and DJ Phaji Makuni from Zimbabwe.

The exhibition concluded with a field meeting on August 3, where the participating teams, faculty and staff of Tezpur University shared their experiences and views on the exhibition. It is pertinent to mention that Tezpur University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinod Kumar Jain also submitted the evaluation report of the three persons as per the rules to the committee.
