Continuous efforts were being made for the last several days to arrest the absconding accused Tufan Singh, who sold illegal pistols to Mohsin, the accused who shot at Khargone Superintendent of Police Siddhartha Chaudhary during the Ram Navami procession and riots on April 10 in Khargone. As a result of which the absconding accused Tufan Singh was arrested from his house village Signur on the information of the informer. After taking police remand of accused Tufan Singh, further action will be taken after taking information regarding making weapons etc. Police said that cases are registered against the accused in more than 6 police stations.
