New Delhi: A Delhi court on Wednesday (March 1) granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan in a case related to alleged illegal appointments to the Delhi Waqf Board. The case was registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Special CBI judge MK Nagpal of the Rouse Avenue Court said this is a case where the accused should be granted bail pending trial and there is no reason to keep all eleven, including Waqf chairman Amanatullah Khan, in custody. Not visible.
