Lahore (92 News) Pakistan women’s team will tour Australia for three T20 and three ODI matches which will be played from 16 to 29 January 2023 in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.

The ODIs, which will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-2025, will be played on January 16, 18 and 21 in Brisbane with the first two matches scheduled. The third ODI will be played on January 21 in Sydney and the first T20 will be played on January 24.

The other two T20s will be played on January 27 and 29 in Canberra.

Pakistan’s tour of Australia is one of four in a three-year series. His other three foreign series are against Bangladesh, England and New Zealand, the schedule of which will be announced in time.

Pakistan is currently hosting Sri Lanka, one of four series to be played in their backyard. Ireland, South Africa and the West Indies are the other home series with which Ireland will tour in November, while details of South Africa and the West Indies will be announced soon.

10 teams are participating in the ICC Women’s Championship which includes Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies. At the end of the three-year cycle, the top five teams and hosts will book a place for the 2025 World Cup, while the remaining teams will have to go through the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup qualifiers.

In addition to the ICC Women’s Championship Fixtures, Pakistani women will play in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (July 25-August 8), the December ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup (February 2-26). Will also attend.
