On behalf of Imran Khan, advocate Qaiser Imam, advocate Gohar and Ali Bukhari filed a petition in the court before extra sessions judge Zafar Iqbal. The court reserved itself after hearing the arguments.

Court has upheld Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant.

During the hearing, lawyer Qaiser Imam had argued that the issuance of warrants to the private complainant has been prevented to some extent, so Dalat should cancel the arrest warrant against Imran Khan.

Application text

According to the text of the request for lifting the arrest warrant, Imran Khan filed several applications for release on the grounds of danger to life and medical reasons, and also had to go to the courts of the judicial complex.

According to the petitioner, Imran Khan’s life is in danger and there has been an assassination attempt, Islamabad High Court’s appearance of Imran Khan on 29 February was among the top priorities and higher courts are given first priority.

It was pleaded that Imran Khan has health problems and the doctors advise him to avoid travel, the non-appearance in the court was due to missing circumstances, it was not done deliberately, therefore the non-bailable warrant of Imran Khan was cancelled. An opportunity to appear in person should be given.
