Islamabad: The government immediately implemented the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, after which the acquisition of vehicles worth millions of rupees, expensive watches, jewelery and expensive gifts will be banned.

According to the details, the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be prohibited from accepting gifts worth more than $300. In addition to this, these persons will also be prohibited from accepting cash as gifts from domestic and foreign personalities.

Following the implementation of the Tosha Khana Policy 2023, instructions have been issued to deposit the entire amount in the treasury on receipt of a cash gift, while no person will be authorized to purchase vehicles and valuable antiques received as gifts.

Apart from this, the cars received as gifts will be decorated in the central pool while valuable antiques will be decorated in official places, while the president, prime minister, cabinet members, judges, civil and military officers will be allowed to buy gifts worth less than 300 dollars to market value and 300 The public will also be able to purchase gifts worth more than one dollar through the state open auction.

After the implementation of Tosha Khana Policy 2023, gold and silver coins will now be handed over to the State Bank of Pakistan, other than the President and Prime Minister will be prohibited from receiving gifts for their families.

Strict action will be taken against the person concerned for violating the Tosha Khana policy and the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs will be required to provide the gifts received from abroad to the Cabinet Department.

Under the new policy, the value of gifts will be determined by experts from the FBR and private companies, while the value of gifted arms will be determined by private companies and the POF.
