Ratnagiri: Shiv Sena, troubled by the rebellion of the MLAs, has got another setback. It is learned that Shiv Sena leader and cabinet minister Uday Samant has also left for Guwahati to join the rebel faction. Uday Samant is the eighth Shiv Sena minister to join the rebel group led by Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde.

Over 40 Shiv Sena MLAs have revolted against the party leadership, citing various reasons ranging from the funds received by the MLAs to the ideology of Hindutva. All these rebel MLAs are living first in Surat and then in Guwahati in Assam. These MLAs demand that Shiv Sena should leave the Congress-NCP alliance and form an alliance with BJP. However, Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray rejected the demand. After that Shiv Sainiks are expressing their anger against these rebel MLAs who are taking to the streets along with other Shiv Sena leaders. Various rewards are also being taken from Shiv Sena in Mumbai. However, on the one hand, where these rallies are going on, on the other hand the havoc of the party is not taking the name of stopping.
