288 flats of Chief Minister Jan Awas Yojana in Rajsamand municipal council area are incomplete, foundation stone was laid in 2017, work would be completed by 2021.
In Rajsamand, the flats built under the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana are lying incomplete for a long time. In this regard, the municipal council has given instructions and given time until March 2024 to complete the incomplete work. Apart from this, a target has been given to hand over 500 flats by Diwali.
The council will take action against the concerned company regarding the delay in the construction of the flat. The foundation stone of 1072 flats was laid under the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana near the Police Line in 2017. The construction of all the flats would be completed by 2021 and the flats would be handed over.
Due to Corona, the deadline was extended to October 31, 2022. Despite this, the company concerned did not complete the construction of 288 apartments. Work was stopped for about 7 months. Following this, the City Council took this neglect seriously and inspected the site and called on the concerned contractor to complete the quality construction of the remaining 288 flats by March 2024.
