UP Assembly Elections: CM Yogi to contest from Gorakhpur, not Ayodhya, BJP bets on Keshav from Sirathu

The Bharatiya Janata Party has released the first list for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The party’s public list today also includes the names of state CM Yogi Adityanath and state deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. The party has ousted CM Yogi from Gorakhpur city seat. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has been given a ticket from Prayagraj’s Sirathu seat. However the first discussion was that the CM Yogi could be deported from Ayodhya. On the other hand, in the first phase today, the BJP announced the names of 57 candidates.
