LUCKNOW: Renowned poet Manwar Rana has been unconscious ever since his gallbladder surgery. He is kept on ventilator in the ICU of Apollo Hospital. According to the doctors, an infection has spread in his body which they are trying to control. He has also undergone several tests, following the report of which a health bulletin will be issued by Apollo Hospital. As of now, only Manwar Rana’s family is in the hospital.

Tell that Manoor Rana’s dialysis was already going on. He complained of abdominal pain for the last three to four days, after which he was admitted to Apollo Hospital, where it was found that there was some problem in the bladder, which was operated on. Manwar Rana has not regained consciousness since the operation, after which he was put on ventilator in the intensive care unit on Thursday. According to the doctors, his condition is still critical and the next few hours are crucial.

Earlier, Sumiya Rana, daughter of Manoor Rana, had tweeted a video about his ill health. He said he has been admitted to Apollo Hospital due to the complaint of abdominal pain. Samiya Rana said that after complaining of abdominal pain during dialysis, a CT scan was done and a problem was detected in the gallbladder, after which he underwent surgery. As his health did not improve, he was put on a ventilator. Sumiya Rana wrote, “Please pray for my dad. Manoor Rana battling terminal illness in ICU. Pray for dad…”
