Vancouver police have arrested a man following an attack in southern Vancouver on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at a house on East 41st Avenue between Inverness and Sherbrook Street, where police found tape around a house throughout Saturday.
Pictures of the scene show a large blood stain appearing on the sidewalk outside the house.
BC Emergency Health Services said Saturday that three people were taken to hospital around 6:45 p.m.
Vancouver Police Department Spokesman Const. Tania Visintin told CTV News in an email on Sunday morning that two people were in hospital with serious injuries.
Whistler said police believe the attack took place inside the home and that there was no danger to the public.
Traffic was blocked for several hours Saturday on East 41st Avenue due to the investigation.
According to BCEHS, four ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
