New Delhi, Virat Kohli quits Indian Test captaincy After the defeat in the South Africa series, Virat Kohli has also resigned from the captaincy of the Test team. Earlier, Virat had resigned from the captaincy of T20 and One Day. He gave information about this by tweeting.

Resigning from Test captaincy, Virat Kohli shared an emotional post. He wrote, “It has been 7 years since this innings of hard work, dedication and teamwork, I have always tried to take my team in the right direction. I have always been honest with my work. There comes a point in everyone’s life where they have to stop, that time for me as a Test captain has come. There have been many ups and downs during this journey, but my efforts and confidence have never waned. I always believe in giving my 120 percent in everything I do, whatever I do if I feel that it is I can’t, so I know it wouldn’t be right to do it.”

Virat Kohli further thanked the team and wrote, “I have always been honest with my team, I am very clear that I can never be dishonest towards my team. I also thank BCCI for showing faith in me as a captain. I thank my team members who have been with me since day one. I would like to thank Ravi Bhai, who was like the engine in this vehicle of ours, who has always given it speed. In the end, I would like to thank Mahendra Singh Dhoni the most, who showed faith in me as a captain and told many such things which enhanced my personality.
