Excitement for the novelty is growing rapidly It’s the Formula 1 season, with teams expected to unveil their new 2024 cars in the next few weeks.

After a perfect new 2023, Red Bull has the tough task of building a car to match the performance of the RB19 and give Max Verstappen a fourth consecutive world championship.

However, there is more pressure on Mercedes, who have won just one race in the last two seasons and will be keen to help Sir Lewis Hamilton return to winning ways as he tries to become the first eight-time champion.

Ferrari and McLaren will also hope to challenge for the title, with Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris fighting for induction into the sports hall of fame.

Early reports suggest fans are in for another year of Verstappen/Red Bull dominance as the rest of the grid continues to play catch-up, but nothing is certain until the cars hit the track.

Drivers won’t have to wait long to see how they’ll race this year, with McLaren becoming the first team to unveil their 2024 livery last Tuesday – although their actual car is still to come.

However, it’s Williams and the newly rebranded Stake F1 team that will start rolling out the cars this year, with both showing off their new machinery on February 5.

2024 F1 Car Launch Dates:

February 5 – Williams/Stake

February 7 – Alps

February 11 – Haas

February 12 – Aston Martin

February 13 – Ferrari

February 14 – Mercedes/McLaren

February 15 – Red Bull

TBC – AlphaTauri

The big guns will be front and center next week, with Ferrari on 13th, Mercedes and McLaren on 14th, and the W15 and MCL38 on display at Silverstone.

On the 15th, the Red Bull RB20 will be unveiled, with the reigning champions set to be the last team to put their car on sale.

Red Bull’s sister team AlphaTauri plans to rebrand ahead of the new season and is the only team yet to announce a launch date for its cars.

Pre-season testing in Bahrain takes place next week, February 21-23, ahead of the season-opening race at Sakhir on March 2.
