Minister Senthil Balaji was arrested on June 14 by the Enforcement Directorate under the Prohibition of Unlawful Money Transfers Act. After that, Minister Senthil Balaji was interrogated by the enforcement department for 5 days. After the investigation, on August 12, the enforcement department filed the case in the principal sessions court, Chennai.
While the court custody of Minister Senthil Balaji ended on September 29, he was produced through video from Puzhal Jail, and then the court custody was extended till October 13.
In this case, as Senthil Balaji’s court custody ended today, Chennai District Court Judge Lingeswaran was produced via video in front of the Puzhal Jail.

The judge then extended the court custody until October 20. As a result, Senthil Balaji’s judicial custody has been extended for the 8th time. Senthil Balaji’s bail case will be heard in the Madras High Court on Monday.
