Yemen’s worst humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen, nearly 20 million people are starving! The catastrophe has been exacerbated by the excessive reduction of Yemen’s allocation to the United Nations World Food Program.

It is known that more than 19 million people in the country are now starving and half-starved.
A United Nations report says the number of Yemenis has never starved since the Saudi-led coalition began its war against the country in 2015.

In December, the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) was forced to cut food aid to 6 million poor people in Yemen due to a lack of funding. . The agency last month announced another round of food aid cuts for Yemen.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says 160,000 Yemenis are facing an acute food crisis or famine due to cuts in aid budgets.

On the other hand, 5 million Yemenis will get less than half of their daily food needs and 6 million Yemenis will get less than one-third of their daily needs from now on.
