Yogi will fight from Gorakhpur, not Ayodhya

Lucknow: The BJP has announced the names of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. 57 candidates have been announced for the first round and 36 for the second round. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will fight from Gorakhpur.

Similarly, Keshab Prasad Maurya, the Deputy Chief Minister from Siratu, will contest. This was stated by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who is in charge of the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh Election Incharge, in a press conference.

It has been speculated that Yogi Adityanath may contest from Ayodhya or Mathura.
