Old Tonk Police Station arrested a juvenile on charges of bicycle theft.

Old Tonk police station has arrested a youth in the case of theft. A stolen bicycle has also been taken from his possession.

Old Tonk police station in-charge Omprakash said that on September 4, the complainant Manoj, son of Ramlila Meena, a resident of Araniyanil in Mehndwa police station area, had come to Tonk town on bicycle for household work. Being at the old police station area, he parked the bike and started doing his work some distance away. When he came back after some time, he could not find the bike. He then filed a report of bicycle theft against unknown persons. Police scanned the surrounding CCTV footage to nab the thief. Apart from this help of cyber cell was also taken.

In this case, police arrested Rihan alias Aamir (18) son of Hasin alias Jalaluddin, resident of Bahir Hall, Phoolbagh Beedi Colony, Bahir, Mohalla of Regar, from his house on Tuesday evening. Station in-charge Omprakash told that the accused will be questioned about more incidents of theft. This will likely open up more theft cases.
