A young man was shot dead by unknown persons on Ater Road in Bhind. This incident occurred on Tuesday evening. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police arrived at the scene. The police registered a case of murder and kept the dead body in PM House for post-mortem.
According to the information provided by Bhind police, Nilesh Jatav’s son Dataram Jatav, who lives near Ater Road KK Brick Bhatta, received a call on Sunday evening from one of his friends, a resident of Chandan Nagar. The friend told that some people were harassing his sister. On this, Nilesh reached his friend along with one of his younger brothers, Shailesh. After this, all three together had a verbal dispute with the one who molested the girl. The number of defendants is said to be six. Then the accused surrounded Nilesh and shot him with a machete from behind.
Nilesh fell on the ground as soon as the bullet hit him in the back. After this, the accused fled from the scene. After the incident, Nilesh’s friend and brother immediately took him to the district hospital. Here the doctors declared him dead. After this incident, family members and people in the community gathered. Nilesh’s death sparked protests.
Argument with the police
After this incident, Dehat police station, ASP, CSP along with Kotwali and Dehat police force reached the district hospital and the incident site. The police prepared a panchnama and took steps to seize the dead body and get it post-mortem. Only then did the aggrieved become adamant about arresting the accused. At the same time, there was an altercation between the aggrieved party and Kotwali police station in-charge Satendra Rajput.
Demonstration will take place if the accused are not arrested
In this whole issue, former regional councilor Mukesh Garg says that the miscreants shot Nilesh after using the girl. If the accused are not arrested soon, there will be dharna demonstration and traffic jam.
