14 officials, including DSP, suspended for connections with criminals

PESHAWAR: 14 officials, including a DSP, have been suspended in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for their links with drug dealers and criminals.

In Peshawar, the connections of police officers and officials with criminals and drug dealers were revealed.

According to SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar, representing the DSP, 14 officials including SHOs of 2 police stations have been suspended for their association with criminals and drug dealers.

He said the officials are accused of having contacts with criminals and aiding them. On the basis of which action was taken against the suspended policemen and staff after investigation.
