Karachi: In Malir Jafar Tayar Society, robbers killed a woman while a citizen was injured.
According to Express News 3, motorcycle-riding bandits were robbing citizens near Mangal Bazaar Jafar Tayar Society in Malir town when one citizen opened fire on them and as a result a woman and a man also opened fire.
In the meantime, the residents of the neighborhood caught the bandit, tortured and shot him. Immediately after the incident was reported, the police and rescuers arrived at the scene.
The injured were rushed to Jinnah Hospital for immediate medical attention when the woman succumbed to her injuries and was identified as 30-year-old Shahida.
According to police officials, deceased Shahida was a resident of the same locality belonging to Lodhran, who worked as a domestic worker while staying at her paternal aunt’s house in Malir Jafar Tayar Society.
Town SHO Malir Farast Shah said the dead bandit was identified as Israr, son of Sharif, who was a resident of Shafi Goth area of ​​Shah Latif Town, using an identity card found in his pocket.
He said the dead bandit was killed by gunfire, but investigation is being done by getting more information from eyewitnesses, the motorcycle found with the bandit has been seized by the police.
