Blood screening in Peshawar Central Jail, HIV confirmed in 16 inmates

Web Desk: Regarding HIV cases of inmates in Peshawar Central Jail, Superintendent Muhammad Waseem Khan said that HIV was confirmed in 16 inmates during a blood test.
He said the 16 inmates affected were drug addicts who had been held separately from other inmates.
The Jail Superintendent said there are currently 3,400 inmates in the Peshawar Central Jail, while treatment and counseling for HIV-infected inmates continues.
