Sukkur: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured that citizens waiting for hours outside NADRA offices will soon get relief.
The Home Minister issued this order on the occasion of a visit to the Passport Office and NADRA Center in Sukkur. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid an unannounced visit to the Passport Office and NADRA Center in Sukkur and expressed displeasure over the non-delivery of the Passport Office building, which was under construction for 12 years.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that within 3 months, 2 new NADRA offices will be built in Sukkur and Rohri, citizens will not have to wait more than 30 minutes at NADRA centers all over Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi took the interior minister to task over the dilapidated rented building of passport office Sukkur, mismanagement of cleaning and said passport office is not acceptable in any way in this dilapidated building.
Later, the Minister of the Interior went from the passport office to the center of Prsia near the vegetable market. In the center of Prsia, located far from the city, where women, elderly and disabled citizens waited for their turn.
Chairman District Consul and Mayor Sukhar Syed Kamil Hyder Shah announced that he will provide land in Sukhar and Rohri for NADRA offices to which Mohsin Naqvi thanked District Council Chairman Sukhar and said that 2 in Sukhar and Rohri will be completed within 3 months.
