Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress top brass seems to be fully engaged in the publicity campaign. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi in particular are trying hard to make the Indian Etihad candidates successful by visiting different areas of different states every day. The Congress seems determined to oust the Modi government from the Centre, and while Rahul Gandhi addressed public rallies at Sarwarnagar Stadium, Medak and Malkajgiri areas in Telangana, Priyanka Gandhi addressed people in Rae Bareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh in corner meetings. as well as various functions.

Rahul Gandhi criticized the destructive and hateful policies of the Modi government at the Sarwar Nagar stadium and said in clear words that Congress does not like such policies at all, it is against unity, brotherhood and equality in the country In his speech he said, “Congress is moving forward to ensure unity and equality for all while leaving behind the politics of division.”

Addressing Jim Ghafir in Medak, Rahul Gandhi blamed the Modi government for rising unemployment in the country. He said that “Narendra Modi has made millions of youth unemployed, but Congress party has come up with the plan ‘Pahli Nokri Paki’. Under this plan we will give the right of apprenticeship for one crore rupees to every educated youth. Then on June 4, as soon as it is created government of India, we will start filling 3 million government jobs.”

Describing Telangana’s Congress government as people-friendly, Rahul Gandhi said, “Our workers are here working for you.” I am your soldier in Delhi. Whatever you need, I am ready to fulfill it in Delhi.” He adds, “Our constitution protects the poor, tribal and backward sections of the country. Before the constitution, the poor in India had no rights. The Constitution is the voice of your heart, for which the Congress Party and millions of people in India fought. But the BJP people have made it clear – they will abolish the constitution.

In Telangana Malkajgiri region too, Rahul Gandhi praised the Congress government of the state. “The Congress has done a great job in Telangana,” he said. 30,000 youths are employed here, a gas cylinder gets Rs 500, health insurance worth Rs 10 lakh is provided, women get free bus travel, every family gets free electricity up to 200 units, he says, “We will work across the country, just like in Telangana.”

Referring to the plans prepared in case of formation of Indian bloc government at the centre, Rahul Gandhi said, “Our Indian bloc government will make MNREGA wages of Rs.400. Asha-Anganwadi workers will double their income. Narendra Modi worked for the voters, our governments work for the poor, weak and backward classes.

On the other hand, Priyanka Gandhi was seen campaigning vigorously in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli and Amethi. At a public meeting in Rae Bareli, he praised the Congress candidate from the constituency, Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi was never afraid to speak the truth.” There were attempts to suppress, intimidate and threaten them. He was expelled from parliament for asking questions. Indecent words were spoken to the family, false cases were filed at various places. But today the whole country knows that no matter what happens, Rahul Gandhi speaks only the truth.”

Priyanka Gandhi also mentioned the Gandhi family’s connection to Rae Bareli during her speech. He said, “The land of Rai Bareilly is sacred to my family. This is the domain of Indiraji. Before independence, the peasants here protested against the British government. Hundreds of farmers were martyred in the movement. Nehruji arrested the farmers here. Our ancestors and yours have always fought for freedom, justice and democracy.

On the threat to the constitution if a BJP government is formed this time, Priyanka said, “BJP people are saying – we will change the constitution.” We must understand that the constitution gives us the right to vote, to ask, to be educated in food along with a reservation. If the BJP changes the constitution, these rights of the people will be weakened.” He also questioned the Modi government’s performance so far. Priyanka said, “I challenge PM Modi to stand on the stage and tell us what he has done for the country in 10 years.”

Responding to questions on the performance of the Congress government after India’s independence, Priyanka said, “Narendra Modi is asking what the Congress has done in 70 years. The answer is Congress established universities in the country, built IITs, IIMs, ISRO, DRDO, built big embankments like Bhakra Nangal, built roads all over the country. But Modi only sowed her the seed of hatred.”

Priyanka Gandhi also mentioned Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodu Yatra during her speech. He said, “Rahul Gandhiji traveled thousands of kilometers to listen and understand your problems. After returning from the trip, Rahul Gandhiji said two things… 1- We will fulfill the promises in our election manifesto that we can fulfill, 2- In the last 10 years, a lot of injustice has happened to the people of the country. , so we have to make plans that will bring relief to people.

Priyanka Gandhi also addressed a public meeting in Amethi where a huge crowd was seen. She came to seek votes in support of Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma in this parliamentary constituency. On this occasion he narrated a childhood incident related to Amethi. He said, “What is the relationship between the leader and the people, I got this lesson from my respected father.” My father was a good man. His heart was very pure, he was very brave. He worked a lot for Amethi. Set up big industries here, build roads and even lovingly scold you for missing something.” Continuing his story, he says, “During the Sadbhauna Yatra, the venerable father used to work through the night. I couldn’t sleep at night until I heard them cry. I was afraid that no one would do anything.

Then he says a little wistfully, “There was a phone call in 1991. It was said that something had happened to the respected father. I understood that something bad had happened. I had to tell my mother that she is no longer in this world for the love she sacrificed so much for. There was darkness in the mother’s eyes. After that day, I never felt my mother’s laughter the same. I was very angry with this country, I sent my trust to the country, which came back in blood-soaked tricolor in pieces.” Concluding her speech, Priyanka says, “My mother has already told Indiraji, when she survived the trauma of the murder, now she has also lost her husband. The mother did not eat properly, she had to feed herself with great difficulty. They could not get over this trauma for many years.
