ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the release of people arrested for selling bread at exorbitant prices and unsealing of sealed ovens.

According to the details, the court, while hearing the petition against the new bread prices, ordered the deputy commissioner to fix the price of bread after consulting the bread makers. The court ordered the authorities to submit a report on the new prices within three days.

Hearing the petition, Justice Tariq Jahangiri observed that the court will not only protect the rights of the poor but also ensure fair prices of bread and bread.
